My story with NITYR

When Alina’s parents learned she had Tyrosinemia Type 1 (HT-1), they were understandably concerned. But, with NITYR, they have a safe, proven medicine that allows Alina to live life to the fullest.

To have medicine that can be given to the patient without it being cooled is very helpful.

Giving NITYR to Alina is very simple

Although Alina’s not yet on solid foods, it’s no problem giving her NITYR. All Sana and Muhammad have to do is dissolve two tablets in an oral syringe with a little water and because NITYR is tasteless, Alina doesn’t even notice it when she takes her medication.

The tablets themselves are small¹ (baby aspirin sized), so when Alina moves on to solid food, she’ll soon be able to swallow the tablets herself. This also means that she will be able to become more independent and start taking the medication more independently early on.
